250,000T Navigational Channel Project of Tianjin Port

Phase Ⅰ project was started on January 23, 2006 and completed on December 15, 2006. The cumulatively-completed dredging work quantity is more than 23,000,000m2. The dredging depth of the navigational channel is within -18.5~-19.5m and the dredged bottom width is within 207~217m, which equip the channel with sufficient water depth for 250,000T navigation. Phase II project was started on January 9, 2007 and completed on December 21, 2007, its construction area is 30km in length and designed with bottom width of 315m and water depth -19.5m, and the dredging work quantity is 33,000,000m3.
